Twelve house colours

Every Rivet & Road frame leaves in one of these, or in a custom match worked out with you at the spray-out table. All are wet enamel, all mixed in the lab on Foundry Lane.

Bexley Green

The shop colour since 2009. Mixed dark on purpose: it reads nearly black at dusk and unmistakably green at noon.

Wet enamel

Rosso Corsa

The racing red of every poster we have printed. Our most requested and, we admit, our favourite.

Wet enamel

Foundry Slate

A grey with the blue pulled out of it. Named for the floor of the old casting hall.

Wet enamel

Cream Poster

The paper colour of the posters. A full bike in Cream Poster is a statement; we have made three.

Wet enamel

Saddle Tan

Warm, grained, ages visibly. Pairs with cream lugs and hand-lettering.

Wet enamel

Midnight Oil

Not black. Green-black. You only notice under sodium light, which is exactly the point.

Wet enamel

Orchard Gold

From the orchards past Kesselberg. Bright in a way that only works with dark components.

Wet enamel

Chrome Grey

The chrome we use on fork crowns and dropouts, available as a full paint too.

Wet enamel

Tannery Red

Darker than Rosso, from the old tannery brick on Tannery Row. A quiet red.

Wet enamel

Lug Silver

Painted to imitate bare polished lugs. Cheaper than chrome, no one can tell at ten paces.

Wet enamel

Bottle Green

A step lighter than Bexley Green. The Vello Citta default.

Wet enamel

Bare Wax

No paint at all: the frame waxed raw, lug edges polished, tube stamps visible. It will patina and we say so up front.
